Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have confirmed their participation in the Ante Up for Africa event. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas

The WSOP Ante Up for Africa has long featured a star studded line up at one of the gaming industry’s most high profile charity events. This year will prove no exception as famous names including Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will be entering the tournament at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. With its $5,000 buy in, the tournament promises enormous excitement with all proceeds going to Africa. Places such as Darfur, in particular, look set to receive the support of the tournament in an effort to alleviate the ongoing crisis. It is hoped that the tournament will raise significant sums for the humanitarian project which is increasingly capturing the attention of the media. Ante Up for Africa has raised more than $2million so far – a sum which will be put towards the Enough Project.
