There's more to look at than just her hand when it comes to Lacey Jones, Poker's hottest player. Read all about her recently confirmed CPT participation here
The Canadian Poker Tour is one of Canada's biggest events, and within the Poker world, it is a tournament that every player and enthusiast will want to follow. This year's Canadian poker Tour (CPT) is set to be even more glamorous and attractive than ever, with none other than Lacey Jones now booked to participate.
Born in San Antonio, Texas, Lacey Jones is both a model and a Poker player, a combination that guarantees she bring the heat to the table each time she sits down to compete! Yet Lacey didn’t always know that this would be the path that she pursue in life. After finishing high school, Lacey enrolled into the University of Arizona at age 22 to study a double degree of Political Science and French. This lead her to living in paris for some time, where she learnt to perfect her French, and since her return she has hoped to eventually make it into law school.
Meanwhile, with her blonde hair and fantastic figure, Lacey was also doing some modeling work. In fact, it was modeling that first brought her into the world of Poker, for her Poker skills were recognized at an ESPN tournament that she had been hired to model for. Despite being there for superficial purposes initially, her skills at the table were quickly noticed by Absolute Poker after finishing 32nd out of 360 other players, and she was soon after asked to represent the label. This led her to work directly with professional Mark Seif, who coached her into improving her game. Other labels that she models for include Max and Co., Playboy Leather Collection and Carolina Herrera.
Since her debut at ESPN, Lacey Jones as worked as a Poker TV host for the US Poker Bowl, Borgata Poker Open and lavish World Series of Poker competitions. The Canadian poker Tour will be her next big gig, and as a proud fan of Canadians, she is extremely happy to be partaking in the event. Her first appearance is scheduled for the 24th of February 2010 at Calgary's Cash Casino.
President of the CPT, Kelly Kellner, believes that she partnership is going to be extremely successful. Not only is she sporty, but she loves Canadian beer and is a pro at the tables, explained Kellner. What's more, her presence is sure to encourage other women to get into the sport of Poker.
