The schedules for two of the hottest poker tournaments have been released this week!

The schedule for the opening half of the sixth season of the European Poker Tour (EPT) has been newly announced by John Duthie. The tournament will kick off on 17th August in Moscow for the first time in history, responding to the amazing growth in the Russian poker market. The tournament is set to open at the Russian SAS before moving on to Barcelona, London, Warsaw, Villamoura and Prague before culminating in the incredible PokerStars Caribbean Adventure at Paradise Island in the Bahamas. The EPT promises even bigger prizes, festival-style stops plus extra High Roller events, Omaha and 8 Game tournaments. The second half of the schedule is set for release soon.

The programme for the 2009 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) was also revealed this week and boasts 42 separate events plus $40 million guarantee. With everything from Omaha and hold’em to Deuce-to-Seven and Badugi, the 2009 WCOOP is set to be the best tournament of its kind to date!
