Get your gloves on for an intense Poker tourney! Friday Night Fights are back at Full Tilt Poker, and you can find all the details on this anticipated tournament here
Full Tilt Poker has buffed up its tournament line-up and brought the highly popular Friday Night Fights back into the ring. The much anticipated weekly event will see three major Poker tournaments follow one after the other in the one night, as well as offer enormous prizes and involve some of the industry’s greatest players.
The tournaments making up the Friday Night Fights series are $100K knockout bounty, then the pro Heads Up Main Event, and finally a $5,000 No Sweat tournament. The guaranteed prize pool for the evening is set at a minimum of $100k, making it the most lucrative online poker tournament available on a Friday night. The Poker pros set to compete in the second Heads Up tourney include the world renowned Phil Ivey, champion Chris Ferguson, and also Howard Lederer, Gus Hansen, Erick Lindgren and John Juanda. Seeing these players battle it out for the title in a real online Poker tournament will no doubt be riveting, as players can witness the world’s best in real life situations. Each pro will be given $10k worth of chips to begin with.
There will be a buy-in of $500 + $35 for the guaranteed $100k knockout bounty Poker tournament. Alternatively, the tournament can be accessed by competing in an online satellite for as little as a dollar, or by redeeming 50 Full Tilt Poker points for entry. It will begin promptly at 9pm, and will see a 20% of the buy-in going towards the player’s individual knockout and 80% going towards the guaranteed prize jackpot on offer. As such, players will be awarded a hefty $100 for each individual player that they ‘knock out.’ In late May, no less than 259 players took part in this tourney, making the total prize pool worth an enormous $103, 600.
As for the Sweat Tournament, this relates to a smaller tournament that can be played whilst the pros go head to head. Players will be able to cheer on their favorite pro, and if both the pro and the player wins, then the player will receive $500 for the buy-in to the next Knock Out Bounty event!
