German the latest language

The Poker Channel Europe for TV has established a German version of its website. Read all about the channel, the site and the new changes here.

There is only one place in the world to turn to when looking for 24/7 Poker-related TV content, and that is The Poker Channel. Unlike other countries such as the US, where there are only Poker related programs, The Poker Channel offers its entire span of broadcasting hours to Poker programs and Poker programs only. The official website for The Poker Channel, called “Poker Channel Europe,” has recently announced that it has gone multi-lingual to add the German language to its offerings. Players from Germany and German speaking players will now be able to surf the site freely in their spoken language.
The new website translated entirely into German contains more than just translations. Accessed by clicking on the German flag icon, the German website will feature content that is directed specifically at the German audience. In addition, there are also all the poker news articles, strategy guides, player interviews, playing guides and coverage of some of the most anticipated Poker events from around the world. The Poker Channel has also announced that it plans on releasing similar websites for the French and Romanian audiences.
The Poker Channel is doing several things in order to promote its new German site; most predominantly, it will be offering the rights to its exclusive Poker game, the “Poker Heaven European Cash Game.” The event, which is conducted by invite only, will be host to some of the world’s best poker players, among them WSOP champion Peter Eastgate, and game expert Chris Haller. The Poker Channel will also continue to offer its long list of Poker related programs via internet and television, as home to Europe’s biggest repertoire of Poker programming.
This is recorded to attract about a million viewers each month, 65% of which play at online Poke rooms each day. The Poker Channel is a product of the Gaming Media group, and according to recent financial reports, the company has achieved significant increase in revenues in practically all its areas.
