Each casino and online poker room will have different system requirements for their software, so it is always advisable to check these before choosing to download a game. Otherwise, you may be required to change some of your settings before being able to use the software. The main requirements usually include Microsoft Windows 98 and up, internet connection, system memory, hard-disk drive space, and video resolution.
How to install the software:
- Go to the location in which you saved the program during the download process and double-click the software icon.
- A set-up wizard will appear. Choose a location in which to save the program – the default location is recommended. Then click “next”.
- Installation will begin automatically, and when complete you will be taken to the casino lobby.
How to open an account:
Once you have installed the software onto your computer and opened the program, you will be required to enter the lobby. Do so by either entering your username (or account number) and password, or registering for a new account (for first time users).
If you are a first time player:
- Click on the “register account” or “new players” button appearing in the window.
- Enter information in all the required fields (email, address, username, etc), and click “next”. You will be guided through any additional steps by the program.
- Once completed, you will be presented with your username or account number and password, which you should print before continuing.
- Use these details to enter the “real money” game play area.
