The Seminole Hard Rock Casino and Hotel has opened a 10,000 square-foot poker room and hosted a series of special events and giveaways to celebrate

A brand new poker room has been opened at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa, Florida.

The new 10,000 square-foot poker room has celebrated its opening with a series of special events which ran from December 21st until the 24th.
The poker room is divided into three sections, a high limit area, a service bar and a multi-station cashier stand. The room is decorated with loads of new Hard Rock memorabilia, there are multiple 60 inch televisions on the walls and of course there is an outdoor smoking area.
The opening included many special events and giveaways. On the 21st of December from 10am until midnight every player received a free spinner when they checked into a cash game or tournament. The next day, Wednesday the 22nd, all players received a free t-shirt when checking into cash games or tournaments. There was also a Christmas party which featured Cowhead from 102.5 The Bone from 3pm at the Hard Rock Cafe. This was followed by a special $535 single table tournament at 9pm in the Poker Room.

Last Friday the 22nd any players who qualified during November took part in a special $100,000 freeroll tournament.
Prior to the new poker room opening the casino contained a 8,000 square feet poker room. Now this space has been transformed into a space containing an additional 364 slot machines including games such as Wheel of Fortune, wizard of Oz, the Courgarlicious Series and Sex and the City. Now the casino features a massive 4,100 slot machines across the whole property.

Before the New Year Hard Rock are also launching a new cafe where poker players will find loads of traditional American food, live music and a great rock atmosphere. There are fantastic offers for poker players who join the Seminole Players’ Club, once joining players will receive points for every drink, meal, spa service and hotel room that they purchase. If a player submits their email address then they receive 2000 free points.
Aside from the poker room and cafe, visitors to the casino will also find a first class Body Rock Spa where you will find beauty treatments including massages, facials, pedicures and many more.
