Since the United States Department of Justice (DoJ) ejected the top three online poker sites in the world from the US market some crazy things have been happening in the poker world over in the USA. The first thing that happened was a lot of former online pros upped sticks and left the US for a country where online poker is still legal, Canada being the destination of choice for most pros who have left. Other things have happened also, the live game in the United States has picked up in pace and in popularity. The pros who stayed have no option but to play more in casinos. Another thing that has changed is the business of poker where new companies and websites have sprouted to fill the void between the law and the desire of fans to carry on playing.
