PokerStars announces prize strictly for the ladies – a poker relaxation package with a seat to the Ladies Event at the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo
With the excitement building as the European Poker Tour (EPT) races towards its climax, PokerStars has announced a not so little something for the ladies. A fantastic world class poker experience can be had courtesy of the PokerStars Luxury Ladies Club. It consists of a five-day extravaganza of poker and pampering and takes place as part of the European Poker Tour Grand Final which will be held in Monaco between 27th April and 2nd May 2010.
The package includes a five night stay for the ladies at the luxurious Columbus Monaco Hotel, where guests can take advantage of perks such as onsite manicures during tournaments and wonderful treats. The very best in poker training will be available, courtesy of Team PokerStar's pro, Vanessa Rousso in her very own ladies' Bootcamp. Then they'll have the opportunity to put their skills to the test on one of tournament poker's biggest stages, the EPT Grand Final, where they'll receive an automatic entry into the €1,100 Ladies Tournament.
As well as the buy-in for the Ladies Tournament, five nights accommodation worth €1,300, and Bootcamp entry (€300), the package also includes €700 in cash for travel expenses. There's even a ladies goody bag stuffed with PokerStars women's apparel and an exclusive part invite. All this amounts to a package worth €3,500 – and even better news for all female poker fans is that this fantastic package can be won online at PokerStars.com from 1st March, by logging on to their website.
The PokerStars Luxury Ladies Poker Club is a signature series of poker events designed for and open solely to female poker players. The events promote the increased participation by women in large buy-in poker tournaments. The PokerStars Luxury Ladies Poker Club has already staged hugely successful events at the 2010 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure and 2009 EPT London poker festivals.
The European Poker Tour Grand Final in Monte Carlo is a spectacular event that brings together the excitement of one of the most eagerly anticipated stops in the European Calendar with the decadence and luxury of one of the world's most exclusive destinations. Last year's event attracted plenty of famous names including hip-hop superstar Nelly, world champion Peter Eastgate and former world champions Joe Hachem, Greg Raymer and Chris Moneymaker as well as rugby star Sebastien Chabal and Team Pokerstars SportStars Boris Becker.
