Online Poker Giants Collaborate

Two of the Poker industry's most beloved brands have decided to join forces – Microgaming Poker Network and Goldbet. Check out what their partnership will offer here.

Microgaming, one of the online gambling and Poker industry’s largest and most reputable brands, has recently announced that it will be joining forces with the online gambling group known as “Goldbet.” Goldbet is primarily an online bookmaker owned by popular gaming company 365 Media Group. Licensed in Austria, Goldbet provides its bookmaking services to Europeans, and has thus been a major player in the European online gambling industry for a decade. Now, with a partnership with Microgaming under its sleeve, Goldbet will be able to provide online Poker services to its customers, whilst Microgaming manages to expand its operations yet again.

According to Luigio Amadio, the casino and Poker director for Goldbet, the online Poker offerings provided by Microgaming’s online Poker Network are undoubtedly the best Poker product out there in the market. This accounted for his and the company’s great delight about the new partnership. Furthermore, he added, Microgaming’s level of security, functionality and simplicity in its products match the goals of Goldbet as a company perfectly, who see their own principles reflected in the Microgaming suite of online Poker products. Being “socially responsible,” he explained, they go hand in hand with Goldbet’s CSR-guided operations.

Goldbet is indeed heavily involved in the preservation of the sports industry’s integrity in the online domain, being a veteran member of the European Sports Security Association (ESSA). The ESSA is an organization that is comprised of online sportsbook operators for the monitoring of irregular betting patterns and prevention of insider betting. It also donates a percentage of its profits to charity.

Just so, Microgaming is equally as thrilled with the partnership. As Roger Raatgever, Microgaming’s Chief Executive Officer, told reporters, the company is always to happy to welcome an “established and respected” online sportsbook into the family. He also assured that the online Poker products that will be made available through the Goldbet website will be smoothly integrated for players, and also available in multiple languages and currencies.

It is clear from this new-founded partnership that the online Poker industry is continuing its expansion, recession or not. Even more European players will now have access to Microgaming’s legendary online Poker offerings, and this alone is reason for celebration – perhaps over a hand of Poker?
