The Sign Up Bonus
Practically every online casino and online poker room will offer a sing up bonus of some kind, and they are a great way to boost your poker money or take a little extra home. In most cases, the casino/poker room will offer you a certain percentage of your first deposit/wager at their site back, so long as it doesn’t exceed a certain amount. For example: 100% up to $250, means you will receive the same sum of money as you placed as your first deposit/wager, but no more than $250. The percentage offered varies greatly – as does the limit – but usually falls within the range of 25–200%. The limit is generally a few hundred dollars, depending on the percentage, and site. Sign up bonuses are obtained by entering a password/code (provided by the site) when depositing money. In order to collect the bonus itself, the site will require you to first wager a certain amount, or alternatively receive a certain number of points. The Rakeback Bonus
Rakeback bonuses offer you a certain percentage back of the money you contributed to the rake whilst playing online poker. This bonus works in the same way as the sign up bonus, that is, a certain percentage up to a certain amount. Accordingly, players must contribute x dollars to each rake, to be eligibile for the bonus. If you like to play many hands, then this bonus is worthwhile for you.

The Weekly/Monthly Bonus
Some online casinos/poker rooms offer weekly and/or monthly bonuses to regular players. The idea is that each week/month, you will receive a certain percentage of your total deposits back, up to a certain dollar amount, when you use one of the site’s preferred payment options. For frequent poker players, this bonus will significantly increase your spending money.
