Ladbrokes celebrates 7th year with changes to Poker Million Series, 4 more seats available at Semi Final.
Players will be delighted with changes announced to their Poker Million Series. The Series was first held in 2000 and is one of the richest televised poker tournaments.
In the previous nailbiting final, John Duthie, ex television director turned poker player, won $1 million in prize money. Initially only the winners of the televised Ladbrokes heats were to be given a seat in the Semi Final but Ladbrokes has announced that it will now offer four more seats in the Semi Final. With a online freeroll, players can now for the first time ever win a seat in the Semi Final. Ladbrokes Poker also launched a 'Chase the Chair' Promotion, giving players a chance to win a seat at the Semi Final playing in the super satellite series.
Second Chance' Tourney, a single table poker tournament lets the runner ups from the twelve televised heats duel it out for two seats in the Semi Final. Players who would like to participate can do so online at Ladbrokes Poker. It is as simple as opening an account and putting in the minimum deposit. Existing customers are not excluded from the excitement, they just have to ensure that they have completed the entry requirements.
Shows will air from September 9 through December 9. The Semi Finals and the Finals will be aired live on December 10 through December 12.
