Poker Room receives top marks for its tournaments. Extensive in numbers, there are about 18 types, including scheduled, sit n gos, re-buys, freezeouts, turbos, qualifiers, hybrids, and big stacks. They also provide the unique opportunity to set up your own private poker tournament, as well as daily $5 rebuys and $1 and $2 tournaments. The buy-ins are somewhat restrictive, yet they do vary between $5 and $1000. Unfortunately, the most popular tourneys are the low limit ones (about $10), yet they do receive high traffic for their guaranteed tournaments with prize pools of $10,000

Poker Room is one of the largest sites in the OnGame network, and was the first to offer Java-based software. For this reason, it has a solid player base. Although its player traffic does not reach high numbers (5,000 for tourneys), the quality of its players is undeniable. Even in the low limits, good competition can always be found, and this is mainly because it is regarded as a good site for poker practice, and also because it is highly suited to player’s able to commit to high bankrolls.
Poker Room’s software is most commonly described by its players as “pleasant”, and this is true in every sense. The graphics are crisp and clear, it has a smooth set-up process, and many small features that make it especially comfortable to use, such as the information bubbles that appear when scrolling over different icons. The access to online support is quick and simple, however some complain that the cashier options are somewhat awkward.
Poker Room loses some points on their customer service. Although they provide email, phone lines, and live chat functions, the response time for emailing is especially slow, and the phone lines have caused some player’s to disconnect from the network. The quality of the responses is also no more than mediocre.

The PokerSavvy bonus at Poker Room is way easy to clear. Its so easy to earn points and clear the requirements, especially with their notorious fishy players. I cleared it in about 3 hours by playing $40 max buy-in no limit Texas Holdem. They also have a great points system that is also quite attainable.
I love the competition at Poker Room. Yes, the player traffic is sometimes low, but at least I get good quality opponents when I sit at a table. Theres no use in big numbers if youre never served with a challenge anyway. In addition, the playing features makes it especially enjoyable for me, and easy to use.
I dont like the way that I cant open more than 4 tables when in tournaments. After all, multi-tabling is one of the funnest parts in tournaments! Its also quite hard to make loads of money here. In the plus side, the graphics are of a higher standard than anywhere else Ive been.
