The PokerStars Turbo Take down is back and with it comes a massive prizepool, players will have the chance to win a car and thousands of dollars in cash
The world’s largest online poker room PokerStars.com has announced that their next Turbo Takedown frequent player point (FPP) tournament will be taking place on October 31st and is featuring a total prize pool of one million dollars.
The site, which is licensed by the Isle of Man, holds a Turbo Takedown contest on the final Sunday of each month. It is possible to buy into October’s tournament for 3,000 frequent player points.
PokerSTars.com announced that the Turbo Takedown will begin at 3.30pm New York time and the winner will be rewarded with either a new Audi TT car or a cash equivalent of $40,000.
Additionally there will be a $100 bounty awarded to each player who knocks out a Team PokerStars Pro and bonus VIP points and bonus cash for two or more Turbo Takedown money finishes.
A statement from PokerStars.com said, “It's one of PokerStars.com’s biggest tournaments and now it's back with even more ways to win. What's more, there are now added bonuses, pro player bounties and even a brand new car to be won every month. There are also satellites running every day, giving you plenty of chances to win your seat. With so much cash on offer and 5,000 places paid, there's never been a better way to put your well-earned FPPs to good use. If you cash in consecutive Turbo Takedown tournaments, you'll get a bonus with a super-fast clearance rate of just 500 VPPs per $100 of pending bonus. Cash in two consecutive tournaments and you'll get a $100 bonus. Make the money the following month and you'll get a $200 bonus and so on all the way up to a maximum of $1,000. So if you think you are good enough to string together a few cash finishes, make sure you play every month to keep your good run going.”
