A brand new Poker series has been announced by Paddy Power Poker, it’s called the European Championship of Online Poker VI, otherwise known as ECOOP VI. This poker series is set to run from 24th May until 6th June of this year. Altogether it will include fourteen separate tournaments, one a day over the two weeks. There is a massive guaranteed prize pool of $4.5 and it is being advertised as the largest poker tournament online ever. The tournament culminates with a mega $1.5 million Guaranteed main event where the best players can fight for first prize.
Before the main tournament takes place Paddy is also running a complimentary series to the ECOOP VI, the Mini ECOOP VI. It will run from 14th May until 23rd May and features buy ins which are considerably lower than the main event. The Mini ECOOP VI will have a total of ten tournaments and has a guaranteed prize pool of $600,000. This means that there is a massive combined guaranteed prize pool of $5,100,000!
There will be a variety of games on offer in both of the events including Pot limit Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, Texas Hold’em (limit and no limit) and Seven Card Stud. There is also an exciting new Quadric event that will allow players to play in four tournaments simultaneously and try to win a share of the $100,000 prize pool. The Mini ECOOP features buy ins ranging from $5 up to $75 and the main event’s range from $100 up to $2,500.
Paddy Power has made the announcement with lots of time left for people to qualify for the tournaments. There are satellites available for both at the Paddy Power Poker website with buy ins starting for as little as $1.
