Red Dog Poker Objective:
The aim in Red Dog Poker is to win the bet by correctly guessing that the third card out of three cards drawn onto the table by the dealer will be valued in between the first two that were drawn.
Red Dog Poker Hand Rankings:
o Cards 2-10 are worth their face value (2 is the lowest value in Red Dog Poker)
o Jack equals 11 points
o Queen equals 12 points
o King equals 13 points
o Ace equals 14 points (the highest value)
Red Dog Poker Game Structure:
1. Players make their bets
2. The dealer draws the first two cards onto the table
3. Players have the option of raising their bets after viewing the first two cards drawn. Keeping the same bet is called "calling".
4. The third and final card is drawn by the dealer onto the table.
5. If the third card is valued in between the first two cards, the player wins.
Red Dog Poker Rules:
• Players do not compete against each other – only against the dealer!
• The dealer draws three cards on the table.
• Players must bet before the cards are drawn on the table by the dealer.
• Players have the option of raising their bets after the first two cards are drawn.
• If the third card is valued in between the first two cards drawn, the player wins.
• If the third card is not valued in between the first two, or is valued the same as one or both of the cards, the player loses.
Red Dog Poker Payout:
The gap between the values of the first two cards is called the "spread", and the payout in the case of a win depends on its size. The payout is as follows:
- For a spread of 1 – 5:1
- Spread of 2 - 4:1
- Spread of 3 - 2:1
- Spread of 4 up to 11 – even money
