Last week at the WSOP Men Nguyen won the Stud Championship and $394,800 in prize money as well as his seventh career bracelet
Last week saw Men Nguyen win the tenth event at this year’s World Series of Poker, the $10,000 7-card Stud World Championship. This brought Nguyen his seventh career bracelet and put him in a tie for sixth all time, joining players such as Phil Ivey and Billy Baxter. The win also game with $394,800 in prize money, on the way to the prize Nguyen had to beat Brandon Adams in an extremely high quality heads up match early last Sunday morning. All eyes in this match were on last week’s Players Championship heads up opponents Michael Mizrachi and Vladimir Schmelev, however, Nguyen managed to steal the show with his excellent crowd banter and absolute confidence, he even played part of the tournament without a single glance at his cards!
