Tina Wallman Appointed as Spokesmodel for Carbon Poker

Carbon Poker has announced that former model and Australian celebrity Tina Wallman is their new spokesmodel.

All large online poker rooms use attractive celebrities to help promote the website. One particularly famous celebrity that is working in the poker promotion business to try and attract men from all over the world is Tina Wallman.

Wallman is known by many as “The Queen of Hearts” and she has recently been announced as the new official spokesmodel for Carbon Poker. Unsurprisingly Wallman who is 30 years old and from Australia was a model before she started working in the poker promoting business in 2006. Her career is still going strong as her impressive assets are being used to increase the number players at Carbon Poker.

Wellman is half German but originally comes from Sydney. In the past her modelling assignments have included photo shoots for magazines including babelife.com, Ralph magazine and Maxim. In 2007 Wallman was named as the Zoo Beach Weekly’s Girl of the Year.

Wellman’s MySpace page regularly receives thousands of views and she is more than a minor celebrity in her native Australia where she has featured in numerous television adverts.

Her position as official spokesmodel for Carbon Poker sees Wallman working in the marketing department of the US friendly poker site. Carbon Poker’s traffic has been steadily increasing since a number of poker sites left the American market after the 2006 UIGEA was enforced at the beginning of last year.

It is likely that Wallman will be successful in her attempts to form stronger Australian-American poker relations. It is rumoured that Wallman has also become quite a skilled poker player since she became part of Carbon Poker. She was once asked by an interviewer if she thinks that there is a relationship between poker and sex, her famous response was that bluffing is “very similar to faking it.”

However, there doesn’t seem to be any record of Wallman’s poker success online; nonetheless as she continues to raise her profile in the poker world it is likely that poker fans will begin to follow her progress more carefully. Some think that she will never develop true poker skills but may instead follow in the footsteps of Jennifer Tilly and just wear revealing shirts at the table to distract her opponents.

Recently on January 27th Wallman was in the top five most searched for things on Google after it was announced that she was the new spokesmodel for Carbon Poker.
