Head over to PokerStars where you’ll find loads of opportunities to win a place at the World Series of Poker 2010, there are satellites with incredibly low buy-ins, FPP satellites and their popular Steps system

Every serious poker player dreams of taking part in the World Series of Poker Main Event. Every year there are loads of online poker sites offering various promotions which will allow you to qualify for the WSOP, one of the sites offering a promotion is PokerStars who are the world’s largest online poker site. This year they are offering three different ways to qualify for a space, cash satellites, FPP satellites and the Steps system.
Buy-ins for the cash satellites start at only $1.10 and they offer players the chance to win a place in one of the $700 qualifier events, each event guarantees at least 10 seats for each tournament. There are also FPP satellites which are similar, however players can actually use points they have earned to enter them and then freeroll their way into the Main Event without having to spend any of their own money.

Just like last year, the site is also offering its popular Steps Sit-N-Go system; this allowed players to win their seat by only spending #7. A player can buy-in for any of six Step Sit-N-Go competitions, the buy-ins range from $7 to $82 to $700 and as high as $2,100. One of the main advantages of the Steps system is that if you do not win your event but finish in 3rd to 6th place then you are awarded a place in a lower steps event, this means that one bad beat will not through you out of the tournament completely.
Once in Las Vegas players will receive a number of benefits. Each of the packages which can be won to the WSOP includes the buy-in to the main event, $1000 in travel expenses, eight nights accommodation at the Palms Casino as well as transportation to and from the Rio. If the player wears PokerStars clothing during the Main Event players will also earn 50,000 VIP Player Points, a goody bag and an invitation to the PokerStars party which is going to take place on July 11th.

If a player manages to win cash during the Main Event they will also receive a free package to the 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure or a North American Poker Tour event of their choosing in addition to any money they’ve won at the WSOP. If the player manages to win the Main Event they will also receive one million dollars in prize money split between tournament buy-ins and cash.
Satellites and Step Sit-N-Gos have already begun at PokerStars so don’t miss out, visit the site today and try and win your place at the WSOP 2010.
