Whilst the world focuses on the WSOP 2010, there are already seats to be won for next year’s main event, don’t miss the opportunity!
Now is the best time for you to qualify for the 2011 World Series of Poker. Whilst the 2010 WSOP is busy underway in Las Vegas and most of the poker world is focusing on it intensely in particular watching the Main Event. This means that there is probably less players online at your favourite online poker rooms.
In particular Bodog is running a Mini Poker Series which has a seat at the 2011 WSOP Main Event up for grabs. The Bodog miniseries is made up of 13 $10+$1 qualifying events and it has $40,000 worth of guaranteed prize pools.
The top 30% of finishers from the qualifying events will receive Tournament Leader Board points. If you finish in first place in any qualifying event you will automatically receive a seat at the Mini Poker Series Final tournament. If you manage to win the final then you will receive a prize package worth $12,000 which includes a seat for the Main Event in the 2011 WSOP.
For those of you who doubt Bodog have a listen to what “HandySnacks” has to say. He has been playing with Bodog for some time now and says he mainly plays there “because I have played on the site since I have been 18 years old and feel like I am a part of Bodog. Also, I would like to meet many of the players I have played with online in person from Bodog, that I have played with over the past five years.”
There is also Alper “ThunderFX” sar, a Turkish player who was able to travel half way around the world after winning a seat at the WSOP 2009. He said, "I'd like to say that Bodog made me feel comfortable and treated me very well. I'd also like to thank Serge who handled everything that I needed, and I look forward to playing for Bodog again someday.”
One of the main reasons people like to try and win their seats from Bodog is because of the Bodog party. Zav “iLLNuGWichee” Fonterhouse won a seat to the WSOP through Bodog and felt his party began the moment he arrived, “I can’t remember if it was last year or the year before…maybe it was the year before. Anyway, I remember being on the Bodog Bus out on The Strip in front of the Bellagio and this one guy was doing the Bodog chant – to try to get on the bus with us – and he fell into the fountain. That was the best. I’ll never forget that.”
